Located at “Floridaodden” on the outskirts of town, Farsund Fjordhotell was completed in 1977. Besides lodging, the hotel has facilities for parties, activities and courses/conferences. With its 63 rooms, all with a terrace facing the garden and sea, bath with shower/bathtub, TV, phone and desk, the hotel has a lot to offer, including a bar, conference section and possibilities for any type of event.
The hotel grounds include a garden, Sjaluppen (“the barge”) which is a roofed terrace, a boat landing and spacious terrace. On sunny days the terrace is perfect for breakfast or barbecues.
Farsund is 90 km from Kristiansand and 190 km from Stavanger.
There are frequent daily bus departures to these cities with each their international airport and ferry terminals.
Farsund is a town with many local attractions: Lista Lighthouse, Norberg Fort, birdlife at Lista and the Loshavn harbour village, not to mention our charming town with its small, white buildings. Farsund offers many possibilities for fishing. For divers there are several shipwrecks to discover in the beautiful underwater landscape.
